Why we built Taxero
Alex and Euwye spent decades in accounting — watching marketplace sellers get blindsided by sales tax obligations they never saw coming. A letter from Ohio. A penalty from Colorado. States moving faster than any manual tracking system could keep up with.
The tools that existed were built for enterprise compliance teams, not individual resellers. Opaque pricing, mandatory sales calls, interfaces that assumed you already had a CPA on staff. We got tired of watching sellers get burned by a system that wasn't built for them — so we built the one they actually needed.
