Alex has spent roughly a decade in accounting and finance. He currently leads the accounting and finance function at a publicly traded financial services company, where his responsibilities include sales tax, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
Before that he served as Accounting Manager for a multi-entity restaurant and real estate group, acting in a controllership capacity across construction, operations, and treasury. His earlier roles centered on cost accounting — owning inventory, cost of goods sold, and financial close for operations spanning as many as 45 plants across multiple states.
He holds a Master of Science in Accounting from East Texas A&M University and a BBA in Accounting from the University of North Texas.
